About Lake Okotanpe

A lake northwest of Lake Shikotsu in Chitose City, classified as a dammed lake. Its shore is untouched, and the 1991 survey listed it as an unmodified lake. Reeds and Asian skunk cabbage grow on the shore; kokanee, mallards, teal and red-necked grebes were recorded.
