About Echigonuma Pond
A pond in the Ishikari River basin in Ebetsu City. In the 1991 survey it was eutrophic, with reeds and bulrushes, and water chestnut, lotus and pond lilies. Both the 1976 aerial photo and recent photos show it surrounded by fields, but an expressway now runs right beside it.
