About Lake Kushu

A lagoon-origin lake in the north of Rebun Island. The 1991 survey recorded carp, crucian carp, Japanese smelt, Japanese dace and white-spotted char, and mallards, tufted ducks and whooper swans in winter. The survey form also notes that grazing cattle were entering the shore.
