About Mount Apoi

Mount Apoi is a 810 m mountain in Samani Town, Hokkaido. It lies within Hidaka-sanmyaku Erimo Tokachi National Park. Though not high, it is rich in plants of cold regions, including rare species such as the Hidaka primrose and Apoi sandwort. Its alpine plant community is a Special Natural Monument.
