Hotel Global View Sapporo is a 78-room, mid-sized hotel located in Minami 6-jo Nishi 8-chome in central Sapporo. It sits within the Susukino area yet slightly off the main streets, offering a balance between easy access to nightlife and a quieter, more relaxed environment. The hotel is about a 9-minute walk from Susukino Station on the Namboku Line, 4 minutes from the “Higashi-Honganji-mae” streetcar stop, and roughly 10 minutes by taxi from Sapporo Station, making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers.

Formerly known as Hotel Royal Stay Sapporo, the property was rebranded as Hotel Global View Sapporo on November 25, 2024. Although the name and brand changed, the concept of offering spacious rooms and practical facilities remains, appealing especially to guests who prioritize room size while staying near Susukino.

The Deluxe Single Room is approximately 19 m² and features a 160 cm-wide bed—ideal for business stays or solo sightseeing. The Wide Deluxe Single measures about 24.2 m² and offers an extra-large 200 cm bed, providing even more comfort for single users or couples. Both room types include generous desk space suitable for PC work or remote meetings.

For two or more guests, Deluxe Twin Rooms (about 25–26 m², beds 120 cm × 200 cm × 2) and Wide Deluxe Twin Rooms (about 27–31 m²) are available. The wider twin rooms come with a sofa and a large desk, making them convenient for longer stays or for travelers with multiple pieces of luggage. All twin categories allow co-sleeping for 3–4 guests, making them suitable for families with young children.

On the top floor, high-grade Japanese-Western rooms and family rooms accommodate groups and multigenerational travel. The Japanese-Western Room measures about 68 m² and sleeps up to seven guests, combining two beds, a sofa bed, and a raised tatami area with space for three futons. The 48 m² Family Room includes two beds, a living area, and a kitchen, enabling light cooking and extended stays. All premium rooms feature separate bath and toilet areas—highly convenient for group use.

All guest rooms include a bath or shower, bidet toilet, electric kettle, compact refrigerator, 32-inch TV (some 40-inch), air purifier with humidifier, safe, telephone, pajamas, mugs, and deodorizing spray. High-speed Wi-Fi and wired LAN are available. Basic amenities—towels, disposable slippers, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toothbrushes, and bottled water—are provided. Additional skin-care and shaving kits are available for purchase at the front desk.

Breakfast is served on the second floor and features a Japanese set-style meal designed to be gentle on the stomach—perfect for mornings after enjoying Susukino’s nightlife. Grilled fish selected by the head chef is the highlight, accompanied by side dishes and salads. A signature dashi-chazuke (rice with broth) is also offered. Breakfast hours are 6:30–10:00 (last entry 9:30), priced at ¥1,500 for adults and ¥800 for children (reservation required by the previous day). A breakfast buffet is scheduled to return from December 2025, expanding the selection for multi-night stays.

The hotel features a mechanical multistory parking garage (32 spaces, reservation required, ¥900 per night, 15:00–11:00). Larger vehicles or full capacity situations are handled by guiding guests to nearby open-air parking lots for ¥1,500 per night. Additional facilities include coin-operated laundry (wash ¥200, dry ¥100/30 min), vending machines with drinks and alcohol, an ice machine, a microwave, and printing/copying services (up to 10 black-and-white sheets free). The front desk also provides taxi arrangements, courier handling, paid cleaning services, and fax transmission.

Although the hotel does not have its own bathhouse, guests can use the natural hot springs, open-air bath, and sauna at the nearby Premier Hotel-CABIN-Sapporo at a special partner rate. Hours are 13:30–23:00 (last entry 21:50). Towels are provided at both locations, making it easy to visit without preparation.

The neighborhood is rich with dining and nightlife options, while the hotel’s location on a quieter street in Minami 6-jo Nishi 8-chome allows for restful nights.
