About Naganuma Pond

A long, narrow lagoon-origin pond in the coastal lowlands of Hamanaka Town, inside Akkeshi-Kiritappu-Konbumori Quasi-National Park. It was an unmodified lake in the 1991 survey. Both the 1978 aerial photo and recent photos show marshland around it.
