About Nanbuto Pond

A small lagoon-origin pond on the Pacific side of the Nemuro Peninsula. In the 1991 survey it was an unmodified lake with water chestnut, water lilies and pond lilies, and carp and crucian carp. Recent aerial photos show the land beside the pond heavily excavated.
